I turned in my resignation letter yesterday. Super crazy mind exploding exciting.
I also told them I would stick around to train the new person.
What the F*CK was I thinking? For the love of god I'm going to chew my damn hand off if it means getting out of here. I hate spreadsheets. I HATE THEM. I also hate tapping. TAPPING MAKES ME WANT TO STAB BABIES. Yet the guy two seats down from me (Who will remain annonomous because he's an awesome guy but MY GOD THE TAPPING) Seems to just LOVE TO TAP.
I'm going to start clawing at my face by the end of the week.
Sorry, I feel that the content of this blog has slowly degenerated. I hope that you still enjoy it though! It occurred to me the other day, that while some of my favorite blogs are ones like A Beautiful Mess and The Dainty Squid, they're not the kind of blogs that I should write. Because they're not blogs by me. They're amazing and wonderful and a great source of inspiration, but I can't do blog posts showing awesome pictures of my awesome vintage collectibles or updates on my latest crafty beautifulness for sale in my store, because those things aren't a part of my life. My life is full of working and school and whining about things and in between all of that being rather ridiculously goofy. I think that so far I've been really true to myself, but I have also censored myself a bit for fear that you're all going to say "That girl's just wacky" (a thing my mother says on a weekly basis) and leave. But from now on I'm going to be a little less censoring. (Except for the word f*ck. I'm going to try to not use that. Cause I use it a LOT. No promises though.)
And I'm ok with that.
I hope you are too!
I forgot where I was going with this. But oh well.
I've been doing more shopping than I should ever be allowed to do (Mostly more black stuff for work, and my new hat. NEW HAT! :D) so I have to limit myself now to purely window shopping. I have a ton of that to share. It will be up soon.
Happy Friday all!

Good news everyone!
I don't have Lupus!
One disease to mark off the list
Edit: This is the second time I have used this title for a post. It's because whenever I say it I say it in Dr. Farnsworth voice from Futurama. And that cracks me up.

the one that got away?
I have one goal today. One, singular goal.
That is to make it to the mall on my lunch break and buy my perfect hat.
I went shopping with my sister this weekend. My new job has a dress code that specifies very little except that everything should be black (or jeans). I used to LIVE in black. It was the only color I wore. Even my jeans were black. But somehow a lot of that has wandered out of my wardrobe, and thus needed to be replaced.
While on this run for black, I came across the PERFECT kelly green knit slouchy hat. It was HUGE, which is good because I have a deceptively large head. It was my FAVORITE color. It was super cute on.
It was also $17. Being as how I had already spent about $40 (And am very poor), I just couldn't justify that.
However, I have since remembered that I have been looking for the perfect slouchy hat for literally about a year and a half.
$17 is reasonable to end that frustrating search.
Now I Just have to hope it's still there.

I do have things to say
as it stands though, I have been going through nearly violent bouts of twitchyness.
I'm currently sitting here shaking my whole desk because I'm bouncing my leg up and down so fast. I have a large number of doctor's appointments this week. I'm also planning on finally quitting my job. (Another reason I've been so quiet. I've been training at my new job after I leave my old one). Doctors make me nervous. They take blood. I HATE IT when people take blood. I either cry or laugh hysterically. Like a mad man. It's rather frightening.
Yesterday I had the opportunity to talk to the hubs online for a bit. This was my opening statement
me: i got to come home after the doctor

Yesterday I had the opportunity to talk to the hubs online for a bit. This was my opening statement
me: i got to come home after the doctor
cause i did all my work early
and the doctor stole my bloods
SO MANY BLOODS
and one of the bloods was to test for lupus
and i wanted to tell the nurse not to bother
cause its never lupus
everyone knows that
and now im a little woozy
the only cure that i can see
that becomes apparent to me
is sleeping
and lots and lots of cheese
the cheese will make me well
i am teh hungree
i didnt eat my sammach
so its still at work
waiting for me
i will eat it tomorrow
for now though
cheese
That is a usual sentence for me. I'm a little twitchy. and prone to rants. and changing the subject rapidly. I try to downplay that when talking to people I don't know (Or when blogging) but sometimes it leaks out.

Now, I'm going to go probably drink more coffee (I'm sure that will help) and maybe actually write my letter of resignation for my first job. That might be helpful. Instead of just disappearing one day.

HURRAH!
So I got the job! That's the reason for the quiet this week. I've been leaving soon to be old job and heading down to new job for scheduling and paper retrieval and such. I also still have class until the 14th, so over all it's been a jam packed week! I'm so very excited though!
I go in tonight to start real, official training. I'm nervous, and a little sad, I will admit. I'm going to miss being home every night and weekend. BUT Adam and I have both been working really hard on furthering our educations and this will make it easier on both of us. (He doesn't study much when I'm home. I'm a bad influence.)
I'm also excited because I'll be at my old job still for a while, until I'm completely trained and they find someone to replace me and they're trained. So any money that I make at the new job won't HAVE to go towards bills. Instead, it's ALL going to go towards my camera! YAY! I already have about $500 saved up. So close! I'm almost to the body, then just a little more for the lens I want.
So much excitement! And it's a beautiful 78 degrees outside today! I think I'm just going to explode if I have to sit in this cube much longer!
Hope your week has been amazing too!
